Field harrow

We present field harrows. Soil cultivation using harrowing plays a key role in preparing the field for sowing. Harrowing is intended after plowing or before sowing. These surface machines, especially used in early spring, help loosen the top layer of soil, particularly when it’s excessively moist, preventing the use of more aggressive tools.

By removing the crust from the surface of the field and leveling the terrain, excessive evaporation from deeper layers of the soil is prevented, which is crucial before sowing.

Harrows have diverse applications, from breaking clods to weed control and covering seeds after sowing. Heavy harrows in the form of a grid roller prepare the field excellently for sowing by eliminating unwanted weeds and rhizomes. They help the soil lose moisture more rapidly from the top layers, speeding up the warming process and, consequently, the sowing date.

Moreover, besides cultivation tasks, harrowing can serve maintenance functions by mixing granulated fertilizer with the soil. Their versatility makes them invaluable in preparing the soil for optimal plant growth.
