We present a 3-section ridger with fertilizer applicator. This is an agricultural tool used for cultivating interrow plants growing in rows.
One of its variants is the tractor-mounted ridger, also known as a hiller. It is a multifunctional cultivation device used for plant cultivation. It is mainly used during weeding, ridging rows, and loosening interrows of plants such as potatoes, corn, beets, beans, tomatoes, lettuce, strawberries, sunflowers, and tobacco.
When using the ridger, the body is the main working tool, consisting of a double-sided share, a breast, and two wings. The share cuts the soil and lifts it upward, while the breast breaks the soil into two parts. These fragmented pieces of soil are then separated by the wings, leading to further processing.
